Service Description
Roch was born in a small town called Ceres, nestled in a valley which is surrounded by mountains. Ceres is a town in South Africa. She attended primary school and high school in her hometown. At the tender age of seventeen, she headed for the big city, Cape Town to enroll for a BA (Mus) Degree as well as a higher diploma in education. She then taught at a few schools in Cape Town over a period of 4 years which then took her to leaving Cape Town for three months to play in a band. On her return she then joined a company setting up their retail side of the business, this happened over a period of three years. In 2005 she opened a guesthouse in Cape Town, which she operated until 2018. In 2017 she went back to university and finished a Hon (Music) with research as her focus as music and wellbeing is one of her passions. She is currently busy with her master’s degree in music (Full Dissertation). Her first academic article will be published in the Transdisciplinary Journal for research in Southern Africa within the next three months. She always had a love of writing poetry. Her first composition she composed was when she was 13 years old. The tune of “Forever Gone”. In 2016 her first song was born, a place where a poem she wrote about her dad came together with the tune she composed at age thirteen. She has been composing ever since. She has a keen interest in business as well, however composing and songwriting are the loves of her life. Her dream is to finish her PHD in music.
